Portrait Photography
Portrait photography for artists, entrepreneurs, artisans and creatives or simply people. Telling their stories in my studio or in their unique (work) environments is the essence of my creative vision. From small business owners to international football players - it’s your individual story that excites me. That’s my aim for every portrait I take.
Travel Documentary
Travel photography to me means being curious - with a camera in hand. Photographing moments that happen in everyday life and might often go unnoticed is what I aim to capture in my work. For me, it’s not about the perfect photo of a sight you have seen a million times before, but rather about telling the unique story of a place and its people. No matter how big or small the place might be.
Reportage Photography
Getting to peak behind the curtain of people, organizations and brands and being able to photograph their stories is what I love most about reportage photography. Exciting stories can be found anywhere, and highlighting those that might otherwise be overlooked, is a true joy of being a photographer. My work aims to highlight the artistic process and personality behind the finished result and thoughts, the hard work that goes into handmade objects or a special skill that people took years to cultivate.
Reportage photography is more than just being there at the right moment. It's the ability to tell the viewer how something is made or feels. In the age of AI images, I believe that authenticity is becoming more and more important.
And that's something no computer can do.
